Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Momentum, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or App Store update notes. Your continued use of Momentum after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Momentum is a martial arts training companion app for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Wrestling. The app is available on iOS.

Features include:

• Session logging with detailed training metrics
• Technique library with 1,870+ techniques and prerequisite unlock trees
• Streak tracking with automatic freeze protection
• Recovery exercises and anatomical body impact mapping
• Training journal (text and voice)
• AI coaching, recovery prescriptions, and training simulations
• Training analytics and progress reports

• You must create an account to use the app
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One account per person
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Momentum offers both free and paid tiers:

Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store as auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Monthly: $6.99 USD charged monthly
• Annual: $49.99 USD charged annually ($4.17/month equivalent)

Free Trial

The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial on first subscription. Users who decline the trial offer receive a complimentary 24-hour Pro access period. Trial features are identical to full Pro.

Cancellation & Refunds

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions)
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

• You retain ownership of all content you create in the app (training logs, journal entries, notes, etc.)
• By using the app, you grant Clearpath Studio LLC a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing app functionality (including AI features)
• We will not share, publish, or sell your content to third parties
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data (with no personally identifiable information) to improve the app

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the app
• Attempt to access other users' data

• The Momentum app, including its design, code, technique descriptions, recovery exercise content, UI, branding, and the bull logo are owned by Clearpath Studio LLC
• The name "Momentum" and associated branding are property of Clearpath Studio LLC
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any app content without written permission
• The technique library content is for personal use within the app only — not for reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use

• Momentum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• Clearpath Studio LLC does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clearpath Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim
• This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clearpath Studio LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your training activities
• Any content you create or share through the app

• You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support@train-momentum.com
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately
• Sections that should survive termination (Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Intellectual Property, Governing Law) will remain in effect

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of New York
• You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting support@train-momentum.com before filing any legal action

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clearpath Studio LLC regarding the use of Momentum. They supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings.
